Ex9CD magneetschakelaars met DC-spoel worden gebruikt voor het schakelen van elektrische circuits in gelijkstroomtoepassingen. Ze worden toegepast in industriële installaties met hogere belastingen, waar betrouwbaarheid en energie-efficiëntie belangrijk zijn. De serie is beschikbaar in vier bouwgroottes met AC-3 nominale stromen van 9 tot 100 A bij 400 V. Alle bouwgroottes maken gebruik van dezelfde hulpkontacten en zijn compatibel met overbelastingsrelais Ex9R, die zijn afgestemd op de bouwgrootte en nominale stroom van de magneetschakelaars.
